You’ve changed your style. I like the “yay” and smileyfaces. Please don’t stop that.
Booksneeze Review: The Final Hour
I’ll be honest. This book wasn’t great. I don’t really like government-thriller-spy action stories. I knew I wouldn’t like it, too. That is why it sat in my “to read” pile so long (6 months, give or take).
Klavan writes well, considering the target audience is teenagers, and the plot development does draw you in to some extent. I found a lot of the action...

Now that we are almost 4 weeks into the term, I need to get my life in order. Here’s the plan:
1) Start going to bed between 11:00pm and 11:30pm every night
2) Get out of bed at 7:00am every day
3) Start doing homework. I have 1 class a day, (and none on Friday), plus an online class but…

So, even though I don’t work for Linamar anymore, I can still access my email account through the Web App. I check it periodically for entertainment (i.e. so that I can smile about problems I don’t have to deal with anymore). Today I received what I thought was a particularly funny one. Here it…

Lunch Hour Crafts
I have great news…the first lunch hour craft tutorial has been made! I want to lay out a few ground rules though:
1. My lunch time is one hour, but that needs to include driving home (3.6 minutes+3.6 minutes), playing with the kittens (2 minutes), and making some kind of food (4 minutes). So really, crafting time is about 47 minutes.
2. I have a sewing machine set up in the crafting area....

And procraftinating. Story of my life.
And one thought that keeps coming back to me is that I want to make craft tutorials. Mostly for headbands, but other things too, naturally.
And another thought that I often have is that I want to go home on my lunch hour (about…3km drive) but there is often nobody at home to hang out with, which means I just do crafts and play guitar (not complaining...

Did anyone else read up on the multiple teenagers who attempted distance sailing in the last few years? I feel like it was all over the news for a while. Anyways, this story documents the preparations and voyage of Abby Sunderland who attempted to circumnavigate the globe unaccompanied. It also describes her family’s faith and the challenges they faced in choosing to allow her to take this...

Relevant Magazine: Rethinking Community →
Community in the church doesn’t exist to make my life easier. In fact, I fully believe that true community makes your life infinitely more difficult. Thanks to our fallen nature, we’re programmed to focus nearly all of our thoughts and actions on ourselves, and it’s genuinely hard to shift that focus…
…We don’t live in community because we like to pat each other on the back; we...
